Just minutes from downtown Montreal, the borough of LaSalle offers a wide choice of housing and residential neighbourhoods for those looking to settle in. There’s something for every taste and budget — houses for sale, duplexes and triplexes from the sixties, as well as condos for sale. LaSalle has historically been home to more renters, but in recent years has seen a rise in homeowners. About 66% of residential buildings are plexes (2 to 5 units), meaning buyers and investors have plenty of duplexes, triplexes, quadruplexes, and other multi-unit properties to choose from. Single-family homes make up roughly 6% of LaSalle’s housing, while condos account for about 5%.
